The entrepreneur, nature or nurture?

During this time of crisis, facing the fact that is hard to find a job or the situation in which people do not like to work for someone else and instead would like to be independent, can lead them to consider being their own boss. But many doubts arise: Am I qualified? Am I capable of doing it? Was I born to be an entrepreneur?

The previous debate, about if the entrepreneur comes from nature or is instead nurtured, seems to have arrived at a conclusion: most experts that for being an entrepreneur many innate characteristics are necessary. However, many others are acquired with experience.

It is clear that we are all born with entrepreneurial characteristics. Curiosity, initiative, working skills, adaptation and creativity are aspects that we all carry inside more developed or less than others. The secret is to potentiate and work on them. For the recipe to work with success, of course, we need a little bit of luck and braveness, a lot of motivation and last but not least, passion and perseverance.

As Balzac once said: “There has not been any great talent without great willpower.” Therefore, if you think the moment has arrived, go for it!! Because we are all entrepreneurs, we just need to want it.
